Believe it or Not: Mining Your Mind Part 2

by Thom McFadden

The practice of Mind-Mining is taking the inherent resources in the conscious mind (what I like to call the gold between them ears) and bringing those resources forward to drive us to successful outcomes is best begun by being in present time. In other words, to find the treasure, you have to show up to the party! Being in present time puts the 'P' in a principle we call BOP but that's a story for another time. I mention it now because you need to be fully present when you're working on your state of consciousness. You can't be floating through life in a tranceliving in the pastor allowing someone else to drive the bus.

Consciousness is not an innate body function it's a skill. It is the illuminating light of your concentration but that light can only be switched on by paying attention. 80% of people don't listen, don't care, and don't get it.

I love the phrase 'Every day in every way I'm getting better and better.' That's the secret sauce of the Law of Attraction. Confidence in yourself and your ability to achieve success is the direct result of your beliefs. What do you believe to be true about yourself? Affirm your beliefs to yourself. Affirming beliefs can allow us to perform well beyond normal physical limitations. Conversely, limiting beliefs can produce disappointment and despair. If your beliefs are not supporting your goals, you need to acknowledge that those erroneous self-limiting beliefs will not change unless you do something to change them. Choose to make that effort and you pave the way for greater success. Here are some strategies that can help you to reshape your thinking and beliefs for more positive outcomes:

A good belief system is built by eliminating negative beliefs and attitudes.

If your life is handled with awareness your negative beliefs will not run you life.

Uncover your blind spots and bust out of your comfort zones to confront what you would usually shy away from.

Get a third eye view and ask others what they would change about you if they had the chance

50% of improving your attitude and belief system is by accepting that negative beliefs exist in your mind.

Step two: Using this information.

Recognize and take action on something you need to change in your life.

If you haven't made changes already, make a list of the reasons why.

Looking at your list, decide which reasons are valid and which are excuses. Eliminate the excuses that are feeding your negative belief system and you'll see immediate positive results.

Next: make an effort to one of the things that bring you joy by making a list and committing to do at least one a week.

By taking steps to bring joy into your life you are contributing to a belief system based on joy and optimism.

To maintain your own positive results it's best to support your new positive belief system by surrounding yourself with positive, optimistic people who's great attitudes will reinforce the atmosphere you need to maintain your own positive results.

Like enthusiasm, confidence is contagious, and when your radiate confidence, others also believe in you. As you continue to mind your mind and rebuild your belief system you will initiate the changes you need to acheive your goals with confidence. You are a star!

Be BOP!
